Certifications / Licensures

LFCC's Office of Workforce Solutions provides both Certification and Licensure preparation courses. Both Certifications and Licensures help employees maintain industry-specific professional standards. Certifications can be tied to a college certificate or an industry-specific credential. Licensures are typically associated with government-sanctioned professional standards that a professional must meet to obtain and maintain a license to do business. A licensure preparation class prepares the learner to take an examination, but successful completion of the class does not guarantee or provide licensure.
